Yuvika Choudhary recently landed in legal trouble after she used a casteist slur in one of her videos. An FIR has been filed against Yuvika, but she maintains that she did not know the meaning of the word and did not mean to use it the way it has been perceived by the people. She had even issued a public apology for the same.
Days after the incident, Yuvika’s husband Prince Narula has reacted to the controversy. Talking to the paparazzi who asked him to comment on the matter he said that they do not believe in the caste system. “I feel thee days people make a big issue out of a small thing,” the reality TV star said. He said that the matter is a relatively small thing and said that Yuvika had no idea that using the word might have casteist connotations.
Prince Narula further said that they do not believe in caste and gave the example of their union. He said that he is a Punjabi while Yuvika is a Jat and that they wouldn’t have been married if they believed in caste.
Apologising for using the word, Yuvika had tweeted, “Hi guys I didn’t kw the meaning about that word wt I used in my last vlog I didn’t mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone I apologise to each n every one I hope you understand love you all.”
